We had a meeting with the folks at Clarksville Flower Station about the flora and fauna we intend to purchase and strew about the various locations occupied by our wedding. The lady we met with was quite friendly and helpful, so I left feeling quite satisfied with how things went. Contrary to some of my other experiences with wedding-related purveyors this conversation included by Rachel and I. Although Rachel's and my passions for aspects of the wedding vary, it is nice to be respected in these situations as they are decisions we are both making.
At this point we're still waiting for the proposal to come in, at which point we'll see just how much this segment of kingdom plantae will set us back, and if we want to make any changes.

Welcome!
Rachel and I, humorously classified by theknot.com as "Happy Hipsters," are getting married this summer. This is essentially going to be the repository for my wedding-related updates, links to important things like our gift registries, and pertinent information about the wedding itself as the date arrives.
